Dodge County Dairy Association has been testing milk for local dairy farmers since 1941. What started as a group of neighbors pooling resources to track herd performance has grown into a full-service testing lab serving 260+ members across Dodge County and surrounding areas.
We are a non-profit organization owned by our members. Every dollar goes back into the lab, the equipment, and the people who process your samples. There are no shareholders, no corporate office, and no profit motive competing with member service.
Our lab processes roughly 45,000 samples every month. Butterfat, protein, somatic cell count, Johne's, MUN, ketosis screening, and full production records. Same assays as the big labs, tested right here in Juneau by people who live and work in dairy country.
Most of our members have been testing with us for years. Some for decades. They stay because the results are accurate, the turnaround is fast, and when they call with a question, someone answers.
Non-profit, governed by dairy farmers, accountable to the members who use the service.
Samples processed in Dodge County. Short travel distance, fast results, fewer handling steps.
Standardized DHIA methods. The same protocols used nationwide, run by experienced technicians.
